A healthy self esteem is something we all need. When we value & understand ourselves, we can really thrive in life.
Being a teenager can be really tough. I remember my own teenage years and how difficult I found them and that was without the added influences of social media. We’re trying to become more of ourselves and more independent but perhaps don’t feel equipped or able to handle certain situations or emotions and can very quickly become overwhelmed and anxious.
Adolescence is such a crucial time in life for building self esteem and healthy foundations for adulthood. Negative experiences particularly, such as issues with peers at school, receiving negative comments about themselves from others and lots of academic stress and pressure can leave an imprint on how they feel emotionally and how they view themselves.
I support teenage girls to feel calmer, more confident, and equipped to thrive, both now and in the future.

SEEKING SUPPORT FOR YOUR TEENAGER

It can feel extremely overwhelming...
It can feel overwhelming knowing where and how to seek support for your teenager, especially if you have already tried certain avenues, or you are also trying to convince your daughter to receive help in the first place. I understand that therapy may feel intimidating for teenagers therefore coaching can be a good alternative. 1-1 sessions can be also a great fit for girls who require a little more attention and support and who may find group settings nerve wracking.

It is very common...
It’s completely natural for girls to feel nervous, unsure, or hesitant when taking the first step into coaching. That’s why I prioritise creating a warm, approachable, and relaxed environment where they feel safe and supported from the very start.
Many girls find it reassuring to begin with an introductory consultation session, which allows them to ask questions, get a feel for coaching, and settle into the process at their own pace before starting regular sessions.

My approach...
My approach as a coach has a therapeutic core essence where I work on a feeling level, guiding the girls to understand the emotions they are experiencing. My sessions are very relaxed and nurturing. I’ll be their cheerleader, encourager and supporter whilst teaching them how to be their own. The sessions allow the space to discuss and process personal experiences and emotions, while encouraging new perspectives, strategies & insights to help them cope and move forwards.
