Supporting girls with their self esteem, confidence and emotional health so they can flourish and thrive

Hi, I'm Izzy
Your go-to Self Esteem and Emotional Health Coach for teenage girls
I created the Good Enough Club after realising the rise in anxiety, body image issues, self harming and depression amongst girls (and all young people) and how unequipped girls feel with dealing with these kinds of issues and where to get support.
I’m on a mission to create safe spaces for girls to receive support with their emotions, confidence & life struggles.
I have a background in Movement Psychotherapy and I’m also a Mum, former dancer, recovering perfectionist but most importantly- human!

ON A PERSONAL LEVEL...
After struggling through my teenage years, I’ve really worked to overcome my own inner critic, build a deep understanding and awareness of my emotions and develop healthy wellbeing foundations. Had I built some of this awareness and had supportive spaces in my teenage years to cope with the struggles I was facing, I might have entered into adulthood feeling more empowered and confident and made choices and decisions feeling worthy and fuelled with self belief, rather than holding myself back.
Now, I’ve developed a totally fierce inner champion that I can count on in any situation. This looks like allowing myself to make mistakes, embrace what it means to be a human with emotions, positively talk to myself with encouragement and kindness and give myself lots of compassion when needed.
MY EXPERIENCE

Our Mantra here at The Good Enough Club...
Through The Good Enough Club, we are collectively spreading and embodying the message as women that we are worthy, we matter and we are enough, despite what society, perfectionism culture, social media and past hurtful experiences may cause us to feel.

My Core Values
and Passion...
Being relatable, compassionate and approachable are my core values. Coaching is more than a job to me, it’s my passion.
I thrive on learning new knowledge about self esteem, body image and mental health and I’ll be the girls’ biggest cheerleader, supporter (AND challenger) while guiding them to be their own.

Being able to
witness the...
‘oh my goodness I didn’t know other people felt this way too’,

‘that’s exactly how I’ve been feeling and have never been able to understand it until now’
and
‘finally I know how to cope with these thoughts I’ve been having’ moments, is such a privilege and the driving force for The Good Enough Club.

It was during her Masters training that Izzy started to become more interested in how Self Esteem links in with our wellbeing and mental health, as well as the Mind-body connection. Tuning into the nervous system, understanding how emotions are stored and held in our body, and how our movement and body language affects and reflects our internal worlds has become foundational in Izzy’s approach as a Coach.
