A Confidence Workshop for Pre-Teen & Teenage Girls

Being a teenage girl today comes with a lot of invisible pressure.
School stress. Friendship worries. Anxiety that’s hard to explain. And a constant inner voice telling her she’s not good enough, not keeping up, or getting it wrong.
Brave, Not Perfect is a 2-hour, in-person confidence workshop designed to help girls gently make sense of what’s going on in their minds — and begin building a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves.
Held in a small, safe and nurturing group, this workshop offers something powerful: The realisation that she is not the only one who feels this way.
This is a supportive first step for girls who may be struggling quietly and would benefit from connection, understanding and practical tools.

WHAT DOES THIS WORKSHOP HELP MY TEEN WITH?

During our time together, your daughter will explore some of the most common emotional challenges faced by pre-teen and teenage girls, including:
The negative inner voice that tells her she’s falling short or not good enough
Anxiety — what it is, why it shows up, and why she’s not broken for feeling it
Friendship struggles and fear of being judged
Body image worries and comparison
Understanding her thoughts and emotions with more compassion
Many girls feel immediate relief simply hearing other girls say, “I feel that too.”

UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY
(IN A GENTLE, AGE-APPROPRIATE WAY)
Rather than trying to “fix” anxiety, this workshop helps girls understand it.
Together we explore:
-
Why anxiety exists
-
How the brain tries to protect us (even when it doesn’t feel helpful)
-
Why anxious thoughts don’t mean something is wrong with her
Through guided discussion and simple activities, girls begin to separate who they are from what they feel — removing some of the fear and shame.
COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND REAL BRAVERY

We explore what real bravery looks like for teenage girls.
Not being fearless, but:
Trying again after a setback
Being kind to herself
Asking for help
Showing up even when things feel uncomfortable
Through interactive activities and reflection, girls leave with practical tools they can use immediately — at school, in friendships and in everyday life.

THE POWER OF A SMALL, SUPPORTIVE GROUP
This workshop is intentionally kept small to create a close-knit, safe space.
Girls are never pressured to share more than they want to.
They are invited to participate in a way that feels comfortable for them.
The power often comes not just from what they learn — but from realising they are not alone.

CREATED WITH REAL EXPERIENCE, REAL GIRLS IN MIND
With over six years of experience working closely with pre-teen and teenage girls, this workshop is shaped by the real concerns I see every day.
My hope is that your daughter/teen leaves feeling:
Less alone
More understood
More confident in her own thoughts
And a little more hopeful about herself
A BRAVE STEP FORWARD
This in-person workshop is ideal if your daughter:
• Struggles quietly with self-doubt or anxiety
• Is hard on herself
• Would benefit from connection and encouragement
• Needs a confidence boost in a safe environment
Spaces are limited to keep the group supportive and personal.Because she doesn’t need to be perfect. She just needs to know she’s already enough.
